Kenny Weaver, PA-C
Kenneth (Kenny) Weaver PA-C works as an extension healthcare provider of Dr. William F. Hefley, Jr., M.D., treating patients for injury and illness of the hip, knee and shoulder and using minimally invasive joint replacement techniques, arthroscopy and conservative measures.
As a native of Arkansas he joined the United States Army 82nd Airborne as a Combat Medic in 1988. After four years and two deployments he joined the Arkansas National Guard while attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. In 1997 he was accepted to the Military Interservice Physician Assistant program, graduating in January 2000.
Kenny is currently board certified through the National Commission of Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) and board certified Physician Assistant Surgical Assist since 2000. He has been a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants since 2000.
Kenny retired from Arkansas National Guard as Battalion Medical Officer in 2009 with 21 years and 4 deployments to Desert Shield/Desert Storm and 2 to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Kenny resides in North Little Rock with his wife Tamara of 15 years and they have 3 children, Corbin, Logan and Grace. In his spare time Kenny coaches his kids’ baseball and football teams and enjoys running, biking, hunting and fishing. He is also an active member of I.C. Church..
Christian C. Perry, PA-C
Christian C. Perry (Chris) has been with Bowen Hefley Orthopedics since 2003. Chris attended Wake Forest University, Winton-Salem, NC and graduated cum laude in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he then attended Yale University School of Medicine’s Physician Associate Program in New Haven, CT and graduated in 1995.
Upon passing his national boards in 1995, Chris went to work for the Hughston Clinic, PC in Columbus, Georgia which at the time was the largest orthopedic group in Georgia. Chris worked with a traumatologist and reconstructive sports medicine surgeon and was involved with the teaching of new Orthopedic surgeons completing Fellowships in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
After 8 years in Georgia, Chris joined Dr. Scott Bowen in 2003. Chris is actively involved with all aspects of the practice and sees patients both in the office and the hospital, as well as operates with Dr. Bowen. Chris calls his move to Arkansas and OrthoSurgeons “the best professional move I have ever made”.
Chris has been married to his high school sweetheart, Janet, since 1995 and they have 2 daughters, Lauren Grace (2002) and Caroline (2004). In his spare time Chris works with the Harding Physician Assistant Program and enjoys marathon running, golf, and soccer with his girls. He is an active member of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.
Madeline Richmond, PA-C
Madeline Richmond, PA-C joined Dr. Sam Moore’s practice specializing in treating arthritis and sports injuries, including surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder in the fall of 2017 after moving home to Arkansas from Alabama.
Madeline is a Little Rock native who graduated from the University of Central Arkansas Honors College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She worked as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department of Baptist Hospital, Little Rock for two years. She continued her education at Mississippi College where she earned a Master of Science in Biology, Medical Science in 2014. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies in 2016. After graduation, she took a position at the Orthopedic Group in Mobile, Alabama working for two Orthopedic Surgeons as a PA in both inpatient and outpatient settings while assisting in surgery for total joints. She relocated to Little Rock to be closer to her family.
Madeline is currently board certified through the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
Madeline lives in Little Rock. In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling classes, and spending time with her close family and friends. She is a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church.
Jordan Milam, PA-C
Jordan Milam, PA-C joined Dr. William Hefley’s team specializing in evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses of the shoulder, hip, and knee in January of 2019. She sees and evaluates patients in clinic, as well as assists in the operating room with arthroscopy, hip and knee arthroplasty, and minimally invasive procedures.
Jordan is originally from Fort Worth, TX and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Jordan worked as a scribe in the emergency room for two years prior to attending PA school at Harding University, where she graduated with a 4.0 with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in December of 2018.
Jordan is currently board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Arkansas State Medical Board. She is an active member of the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Jordan had the opportunity to go to Guatemala for a medical mission trip during PA school and plans to start yearly short-term mission trips to provide medical care for people in need. She resides in Little Rock where she enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking, biking, and boating as well as spending time with family and friends. She attends New Life Church.
Sarah Calaway, PA-C
Sarah Calaway, PA-C joined Dr. Jason Stewart’s team specializing in evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses of the shoulder, hip, ankle, and knee in April of 2019. She sees and evaluates patients in clinic as well as assists in the operating room.
Sarah is a local Arkansan hailing originally from Searcy, AR where she attended Harding University and received a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a Medical Missions minor. Sarah ran track all four years of her undergraduate studies and was a Cheerleader for two years as well as being very active in her social club, Ju Go Ju. She began PA school at Harding University following her undergraduate degree and obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree in December of 2018.
Sarah is currently board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Arkansas State Medical Board. She is an active member of the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, and the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Society.
Sarah’s love for medicine stemmed from the many medical mission trips she has attended throughout her life. She has been on medical missions to Africa, Jamaica, Guatemala, Honduras, and has helped out mission efforts locally at underserved clinics. She plans on continuing to pursue mission work with her husband who is currently in Medical school.
Sarah resides in Little Rock where she enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their Australian Retriever, Lila. They enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and as well as spending time with family and friends.
